Ever dreamed of strapping on your very own full-size Ghostbusters proton pack? One that looks screen-used, turns heads at every con, and maybe even smokes a little?
You’re in the right place.
Let me take you back!

A while ago, I stood in my workshop surrounded by 3D printed parts — bits of cyclotron here, ion arm there — wondering how on Earth I was going to turn this plastic jigsaw puzzle into something worthy of bustin’ ghosts. I had the Q-Pack files, a trusty Ender 3, and a slightly overconfident belief that I could pull it off.
Spoiler alert: I did.
After countless hours of printing, sanding, gluing, muttering “what now?” under my breath, and experimenting with truck bed liner spray (yes, really), I finally built a fully assembled, 3D printed proton pack that I’m genuinely proud of.
And now I want to help you do it too.
The Build Guide You Actually Need
I put everything I learned into a beautifully designed, blueprint-inspired PDF guide. It’s clear, detailed, and — most importantly — doable, whether it’s your first build or your fiftieth.
What’s Inside:
A complete list of the tools, parts & materials I used
My real-world advice for print prep, filler use, and finishing
A printable checklist so you can track your progress
Blueprint-style diagrams to make sense of the build at a glance
Links to the exact files and resources that helped me make it
This is Part 1 of the build: from raw prints to a finished pack shell, complete with motherboard and mount brackets.
And yes — Part 2 (electronics, lights, sound, smoke, weathering) is coming soon.
